I’m working with a highly respected custom manufacturing company in the South Jersey area that is looking for a hands-on Plant Manager to lead a fast-paced operation with a strong reputation for quality, speed, and customer service.
This is not a “keep the lights on” role. They want someone who can walk into a growing operation, earn the respect of the floor, tighten up production flow, drive accountability, and build a true world-class manufacturing culture.
The environment is high mix / low volume with quick turnaround times, custom production, and a real sense of urgency. The plant runs lean, non-union, and highly team-oriented with roughly 50 employees.
What they’re looking for:
• Strong manufacturing leadership background
• Proven success improving plant efficiency and production flow
• Experience leading salaried teams in a fast-moving operation
• Lean manufacturing experience with real-world application
• Ability to create accountability without losing the team
• Financial and operational ownership mindset
• CNC machining, woodworking, metal fabrication, or similar manufacturing experience
