Client Care Associate / Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–3:30 PM

Job Summary
The Client Care Associate provides direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities and older adults participating in community-based programs. This role helps individuals build independence, develop life skills, participate in meaningful activities, and achieve personal goals in both community and program settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct support to individuals in community and program settings
- Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation
- Encourage independence, social engagement, and community participation
- Help individuals develop skills based on their strengths, interests, and personal goals
- Support individualized service plans and monitor progress
- Document services, behaviors, incidents, and client progress accurately and timely
- Communicate and collaborate with families, care teams, case managers, and other providers
- Assist with behavior support, crisis intervention, and de-escalation when necessary
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all agency policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Human Services or related field preferred, but not required
- Experience in caregiving, human services, healthcare, education, or customer service is helpful
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals throughout the workday
- Ability to safely transport and support clients as needed
