Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements
- Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively for framing, trim work, cabinetry, and other carpentry tasks
- Assist in construction estimating by measuring materials and preparing job site layouts
- Install doors, windows, siding, flooring, fixtures, cabinets, and other wood or metal components with precision
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration
- Conduct site cleanup, organize materials, and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout each project phase
- Support restoration industry projects including mold remediation, water damage repairs, and general remodeling efforts
Experience
- Previous construction experience with a focus on residential carpentry or general labor roles is highly preferred
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately
- Hands-on experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation (caulking/stucco), rebar installation, and fixture mounting
- Familiarity with wood construction materials such as framing lumber, plywood, siding materials, and trim components
- Knowledge of power tool safety practices along with proficiency in operating hand tools and power tools for woodworking tasks
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety standards related to heavy lifting and the use of woodworking machinery
- Additional skills such as cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring installation, plastering or restoration work are a plus
