We are looking for a Quality Technician to join our team. We are a fast-paced company looking for someone who will be an integral part of our quality management team. At Kanak Naturals, our focus is on high-quality, sustainable, disposable tableware and food containers.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and testing of all products based on established quality standards
- Complete and maintain records and data of all testing and inspections for review
- Read and follow work instructions, work rules and directions
- Use inspection, measuring and test equipment as required
- Conduct inspections and testing on new product development items, prototypes, samples and other items to assist in new product development
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns to management
- Troubleshoot product quality issues that arise
Requirements
Successful candidates will have the following skills, experience, and/or abilities:
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Positive attitude
- Self-motivated
- Ability to read and understand various measurement equipment
- Ability to work as part of a team whenever it is necessary to do so, but also be able to work independently
- Good analytical skills and ability to prioritize and adapt in the face of multiple tasks
- Strong problem solving and reasoning skills
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel
- Quality inspection and documentation experience preferred

Salary : $20 - $23
