Customer Service Representative

Essential Functions:

• As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of our plant operations, ensuring seamless communication between the plant and our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to address customer inquiries, provide information, and coordinate order fulfillment while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and concerns. Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person visits to provide information, address issues, and ensure a positive customer experience

· Work closely with dispatch and logistics team on scheduling customer pick-ups and deliveries as well as continually communicating with customers and vendors on the status of the pick-ups and deliveries

· Enter all shipping and receiving orders into company system (KP Tools)

· Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with internal departments, including production, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery

· Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products, processes, and quality standards

· Proactively identify and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and order discrepancies. Collaborate with internal teams to address root causes of issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence

· Generate reports on order status, and performance metrics to track trends and identify opportunities for improvement

· Gather feedback on product performance, customer service experiences, and areas for improvement

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and customer support, to address customer needs and optimize processes for efficient order management and customer service delivery

· Become familiar with dispatch responsibilities to assist when needed

· Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager or General Manager

Qualifications/Skills:

· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience with order processing and CRM systems is a plus

· Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products (MS Outlook and MS Excel, are required)

· Familiarity with email scheduling tools, like Microsoft Teams

· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
