What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Class A Truck Driver position at Kamps Pallets?

Kamps is a full service pallet company meeting the needs of industries coast to coast. Kamps manufactures new pallets, reconditioned pallets, and recycles unrepairable pallets into mulch and bark. Job Overview:
Our Class-A drivers are the face of our company, delivering and retrieving trailers of pallets to and from our local customers.
Essential Functions:
- Operate a semi-tractor to deliver loads of pallets to customers
- Ability to take direction
- Self-motivated
- Familiar with minor trailer repairs
- Follow all D.O.T. regulations (Pre-trip inspection, E-logs, trip records, etc.)
- Ability to drive single or tandem axle tractors
- Must keep cab of tractor clean and organized
- Strap down loads of pallets on flatbeds
- Drivers must conduct themselves as professionals at all times, treating our customers and fellow team members with dignity and respect
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must have a valid CDL-A license
- 2 years of experience in CDL Class A driving position
- Must have a clean record
- Must pass all pre-employment drug tests and physicals
- Flatbed experience is a plus
- Cyntrx experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis
