The CAASM Deployment Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, integrating, and maintaining Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) platforms within secure government environments. This role partners closely with clients, project managers, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, automated asset visibility solutions, while ensuring data quality, security, and operational reliability across hybrid cloud infrastructures.
This is a long-term contract with benefits and requires a TS/SCI (or higher) clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and integrate CASAM/CAASM solutions within client environments
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal engineering teams to support deployment and operational objectives
- Design, build, and onboard new data connections with third-party security and asset management tools
- Develop deployment scripts and automation workflows to streamline integration and operations
- Analyze complex cybersecurity datasets to identify insights, validate data quality, and improve asset normalization
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform ongoing maintenance and optimization
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience architecting, implementing, and managing COTS solutions in hybrid cloud environments
- 3 years of systems administration experience (Windows, Linux, and/or VMware)
- 3 years of programming, shell scripting, and data retrieval experience
- 2 years of experience deploying, hosting, and securing solutions for U.S. government customers
- Hands-on experience working with APIs and data pipelines for asset ingestion and normalization
- Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Education/Experience equivalency:
- Associate’s degree 5 years of IT project support experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree 3 years, or
- Master’s degree 1 year
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification ((e.g., Security CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA , GICSP, or CND))
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience automating workflows using RESTful APIs
- 2 years of experience integrating CAASM platforms such as Axonius or Armis
- Experience supporting federal DoD and Intelligence Community customers
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
