Summary of Functions
The Promotion Assistant is responsible for the execution of assigned promotions. During times without promotions, they will assist assigned Loyalty Marketing Departments to include Promotions, Players’ Club, VIP Services, and Business Intelligence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Promotion specialist on delivery of merchandise and location.
- Must follow directions in a timely and accurate manner
- Must keep work areas clean and ensure safety.
- Provide and move merchandise to casino departments who assist with continuity promotions.
- Must be willing to make any changes in terms of hours.
- Good internal and external guest service required.
- Must be able to understand and communicate the rules of the promotions assigned to assist.
- Coordinates details for the development of on-site implementation plan for special events and promotions. Which includes set-up and breakdowns of all equipment and props.
- Coordinates assigned special events and promotions requirements with other departments including but not limited to: Security, Food & Beverage and Facilities.
- Uses the promotional kiosk software to design, plan, and implement Kiosk Promotions
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.
- Ensure control/protection of company assets.
- Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures.
- Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.

Experience
- 0 to 3 years of related experience in the hospitality or retail field.
- Knowledge of desktop publishing and graphics software.
- Use Windows, Excel, Word and other computer software.
- Must be proficient with Northern Quest Player Tracking and Compliance Software
- Creativity, excellent verbal, writing and editing skills.
- Knowledge of a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation.
- Skill in solving practical problems and dealing with situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skill in identifying and resolving administrative problems under pressure conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and remain positive in a multi-tasking, high demand position.
- Flexible scheduling, as promotional and special events demand.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a WA State Gaming License.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III Certification.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality for internal & external guest information.
- Ability to pass Title 31 testing.
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Obtain and maintain [License or Work Permit Level].
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
