Summary of Functions
The Spa Concierge primary responsibility is to warmly greet all guests that come to the Spa, schedule guest services, and effectively answer guest questions regarding Spa services and products. Responsible also for checking in/out guests, selling retail, answering all guest questions concerning the Spa environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- Internal Controls and Northern Quest and department Policies and Procedures.
Ability to promote and effectively sell Spa products and services.
Effectively schedule spa/salon services for individuals and large groups utilizing spa reservations software system.
Recommend and up-sell various spa services to guests.
Ability to accurately request, input and access data in computer
Ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time
Operate Spa’s point of sale process and effectively handle cash and credit card transactions.
Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Spa Reception area
Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintains concentration and makes concise decisions.
Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
Ability to focus attention on details.
Greet each guest with a warm welcome and a fond farewell.
Dispensing and serving of wine.
Answer telephone within 3 rings, using scripted spa telephone etiquette.
Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously. Follow up to ensure completion of request.
Handle guest complaints in a positive manner and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Provide treatment providers with an accurate daily schedule throughout the shift.
Ensure that treatment providers are aware of the arrival of all guests.
Successfully complete the training process.
Notify spa management of any maintenance needs and service recovery issues.
Perform any task deemed necessary by management.
Ensure accuracy of all monies. Keep bank secure at all times.
Responsible for any assigned keys and the security of them.
Access all functions of computer system in accordance with spa specifications.
Set up workstations with necessary supplies. Maintain cleanliness throughout shift.
Use guest names at all times.
Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.
May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings.

Excellent guest service, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to pleasantly communicate with proper grammar.
Must be able to type/write in a proficient manner to ensure a quality and timely product.
Ability to compute basic mathematical computations.
Ability to multi-task between front desk operations, operational issues, and staff member needs

Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Due to the cyclical nature of the spa industry, this position is required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs and demands.
