We're hiring experienced Swiss Machinists for both 1st and Night Shift openings.

You'll be producing precision titanium components used within the medical device industry, working on advanced Swiss equipment where quality, consistency, and problem-solving matter.

What You'll Be Doing

Machine Setup & Process Control

• Perform Swiss machine setups and changeovers
• Optimize tooling and machine performance
• Make offsets and process adjustments
• Troubleshoot machining issues and quality concerns
• Support efficient production while maintaining tight tolerances

Production & Quality

• Machine complex titanium medical components
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Perform inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Verify dimensions and ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Maintain high quality and production standards

Process Improvement & Technical Support

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce scrap
• Troubleshoot production challenges
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Leadership & Mentorship Opportunities

Depending on shift and experience level, you'll have opportunities to:

• Assist less experienced machinists
• Share setup and troubleshooting knowledge
• Support training and development efforts
• Serve as a technical resource within the department

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with mid-level to highly skilled Swiss Machinists who have experience with setups, troubleshooting, and precision manufacturing.

Mid-Level Swiss Machinists

• Experience operating and setting up Swiss CNC machines
• Comfortable performing simple to moderate machine setups
• Ability to make offsets and process adjustments
• Strong production machining experience
• Some troubleshooting ability
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring equipment
• Desire to continue developing setup and problem-solving skills

Highly Skilled Swiss Machinists

• Strong setup and troubleshooting experience
• Ability to independently handle complex setups
• Comfortable reviewing programs and identifying potential machining concerns before production begins
• Strong understanding of tooling, process optimization, and quality control
• Experience holding tight tolerances on complex components
• Ability to solve machining challenges with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience

• Tsugami Swiss machines
• Medical device manufacturing
• Titanium machining
• Process improvement initiatives

Shift Options

1st Shift

• 6:00am – 2:30pm
• Frequent opportunities for extended days
• Strong collaboration with engineering, quality, and production teams
• Opportunity to mentor and support less experienced machinists

Night Shift

• Typical start time of 4:00pm or 5:00pm
• Most machinists work approximately 12-hour shifts Monday through Thursday
• More independent work environment
• 20% shift differential
• Same advancement opportunities and support structure

Schedule & Overtime

1st Shift

• 6:00am – 2:30pm
• Many machinists choose to work extended days, commonly staying until 4:30pm
• Average schedule is approximately 48 hours per week
• Friday overtime opportunities available
• Overtime is completely voluntary

Night Shift

• Typical start time of 4:00pm or 5:00pm
• Most machinists work approximately 12-hour shifts Monday through Thursday
• Optional overtime frequently available on Fridays
• Average schedule is approximately 48 hours per week
• Some employees choose to work closer to 40 hours, while others take advantage of additional overtime opportunities
• Overtime is completely voluntary
