Job Description

Provides direction within an assigned section or sub section of the clinical laboratory. As needed, performs prompt, accurate, and reliable laboratory procedures on patient specimens as well as to evaluate, interpret, and report test results to the appropriate patient care personnel.

Education And Credentials

Bachelor’s degree verified by state DOE as meeting Bachelor’s degree requirements for full licensure of a clinical lab technologist. Full Clinical Laboratory Technologist License upon hire required OR laboratory technologist limited permit required not necessarily prior to hire, however prior to starting. If working with limited permit, must obtain full licensure within 9 months of hire.

Experience

4 years clinical lab experience as a technologist required. 2 years within past 4 years performing laboratory tests for which position is responsible to monitor required.
