To perform clerical and patient care support by ordering, processing, and distributing clinical laboratory specimens; and/or performing limited non-complex laboratory tests; as well as registering patients as required.
Education And Credentials
High School graduate or equivalent required. Associate's degree in laboratory technology preferred.
Experience
1 year of experience in a health care environment with direct patient care or laboratory involvement; OR Minimum of an associate's degree (or equivalent) in a medical field or life sciences major from an accredited institution; OR Currently enrolled in the minimum of an associate's degree (or equivalent) in a medical field or life sciences field from an accredited institution with at least part time status preferred.
