- Seeking a highly experienced Google Cloud Platform Data Platform Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, and governance of enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud.
- This role will define the target-state architecture for analytics, data governance, and lake house environments leveraging BigQuery, Dataplex, and broader Google Cloud Platform data services.
- Define and implement enterprise-wide Google Cloud Platform data platform architecture centered on BigQuery and Dataplex.
- Establish reference architectures, best practices, and governance standards.
- Design scalable lakehouse and modern data warehouse architectures. Lead cloud modernization and migration strategies to Google Cloud Platform.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging Google Cloud Platform services and data technologies.
- BigQuery Architecture & Optimization Architect high-performance, enterprise-scale BigQuery environments.
- Define partitioning, clustering, storage, and workload management strategies.
- Implement multi-project, multi-region data architectures.
- Establish cost governance models and query optimization standards.
- Design disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks.
- Dataplex & Data Governance Architecture Architect enterprise data governance frameworks using Dataplex: Lakes, zones, and assets design
- Data classification and tagging strategies
