Position: Dremio Support Developer (AWS)
Location: Houston, TX (3 days hybrid onsite)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Dremio Support Developer with AWS cloud experience to support and maintain our data platform. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, improving performance, and ensuring smooth data operations in a Dremio and AWS environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 production support for Dremio platform
- Troubleshoot query failures, performance issues, and data access problems
- Monitor system health, logs, and resolve incidents in a timely manner
- Work with AWS services like S3, Glue, and IAM
- Support data pipelines and ensure data availability
- Optimize SQL queries and improve performance using Dremio reflections
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams
- Maintain documentation for issues and solutions
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Dremio
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with AWS (S3, Glue, IAM, etc.)
- Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Basic knowledge of Python or scripting is a plus
- Understanding of data lake / data warehouse concepts
Good to Have:
- Experience with tools like Spark, Iceberg, or data lakehouse platforms
- Exposure to monitoring tools and production support processes
Note:
- Candidate should be comfortable working in a support environment with quick issue resolution and on-call support if required.
