Position: Resident Care Manager & Registered Nurse

Location: Koloa, HI

Pay: $109,262/year

Experience: 3 years of experience in a hospital or a long-term care facility.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii is required.
  
  

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (Ability to work weekends as needed)

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Resident Care Manager & Registered Nurse to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Coordinate the unit's services and activities in consultation with the Director of Nursing.
• Plan, develop, and organize work tasks and resident care.
• Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate employees.
• Plan and supervise resident care.
• Assess residents' physical conditions and participate in resident planning conferences.
• Monitor the quality indicators and ensure positive outcomes to the extent possible.
• Support continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Keep the Director of Nursing informed of both progress and potential problems.
• Coordinates unit admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
• First Aid and CPR preferred.
