Job Description
- Monitor patient conditions and recognize abnormal signs or symptoms.
- Take and record vital signs and track patient output.
- Assist patients with daily personal care such as bathing and dressing.
- Support patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning when necessary.
- Respond to emergencies and assist with patient safety interventions when required.
- Observe and report changes in patients’ physical or emotional conditions.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and reports.
- Support care activities for residents in a clinical or residential treatment setting.
- License to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Hawaii.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients safely.
- Coordination and dexterity for taking vital signs and assisting with patient care.
- Mobility to move throughout the facility and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Observational skills to monitor patient behavior and condition.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy when working with patients.
- Willingness to work closely with residents in a residential treatment environment.
