As a Kage Production Technician, you are the vital link between getting our product from the early stages of manufacturing to a complete and structurally sound Snowplow System!
-The candidate will be hand-grinding, sandblasting and assembling our world class snowplow systems-

· Must have the ability to test negative on pre-employment screen
Duties and responsibilities
- Be on time. Use appropriate communication protocol when tardies/absences are unavoidable.
- Follow written and verbal instruction.
- Keep all tools / equipment organized and neat that relate to your shift operations.
- Learn all aspects of our production processes.
- Follow all procedures pertaining to area specific operations.
- Tightly adhere to the production schedule. If goals cannot be met, bring it to the attention of your manager, and help determine a solution.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Report any issues that arise.
- Operate equipment and tools safely, only after proper training/certification.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Abilities to read/learn blueprint reading.
- Tool identification and use experience.
- Read gradations on a tape measure.
- Ability or ability to learn conversions from standard to metric and vice-versa.
- Kage operational and safety process understanding.
- Proven - minimal errors in process.
- 1 year experience preferred.
Working conditions
This position will be subject to hot and cold environments. Regular evening and weekend work in certain seasons are necessary, including differential shift work and working outdoors.
Physical requirements
This is a physically demanding job. You will be expected to consistently be on your feet for up to 12 hours. Regular lifting of 50-100 lbs. while performing repetitive tasks with few breaks is common.
