Therapist
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team!
Our mission is to offer quality care to our residents, and to provided for them a loving and compassionate environment, attending carefully to their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify speech sound disorders, language delays, voice problems, fluency issues (stuttering), and cognitive-communication challenges.
Create and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on strengthening muscles, improving vocal quality, and boosting speech production.
Diagnose and treat swallowing disorders (dysphagia) by recommending dietary changes (e.g., thickened liquids, pureed foods).
Teach the use of alternative communication devices or sign language for clients with limited speaking abilities.
Maintain timely records of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
