What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Machine Operator position at KAD Staffing?
Entry Level Machine Operator - Open to candidates with no previous work experience, or candidates at an apprenticeship / entry level! Will be trained in a metal fabrication environment. 1st or 2nd shift open.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates all equipment in a safe manner and uses safe work habits. Maintain a safe and clean working environment including complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations
- Follows specifications or procedures for set-up and machine operation using blueprints, instructions and machine knowledge
- Adjust machine parts as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure, temperature and amount of materials for quality production
- Monitor and control machines to maintain daily and weekly production schedule
- Measure, weigh and examine all products before they’re packaged to see that they meet company and industry standards
- Complete quality checks and paperwork every day to maintain production and industry regulations and company standards
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain assigned machines and equipment as needed for maximum product quality and operational efficiency
- Engage in continuing education training and seminars to remain up-to-date on the latest industry techniques, machines, safety regulations and equipment
- Willingness to cross train and perform the work of other job tasks when necessary
