Audit & Tax Senior (Public Accounting)

Location: Clifton, NJ (Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Audit & Tax Senior to join a growing public accounting firm in Clifton, NJ. This role will lead audit engagements while supporting individual and business tax preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion

• Review financial statements, workpapers, and audit reports

• Prepare and review 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065 tax returns

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

• Mentor and support junior staff

• Ensure compliance with GAAS and applicable tax regulations

Requirements:

• 5 years of public accounting audit experience

• Tax preparation experience preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

• CPA, CPA Candidate, or CPA Eligible

• Experience with QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, ProSystem, or similar software

• Strong communication and client-facing skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary up to $115,000

• Paid overtime after 35 hours
