Job Opportunity: Accountant
Are you a meticulous and dependable team player with a passion for customer service? We invite you to join our KAAPA team as an Accountant at our Minden location.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete all required reports within required due dates
- Perform month end procedures
- Tracking fixed assets including budget reporting
- Assist with all audits and preparation of tax returns
- Establish and review customer credit
- Reporting to government agencies
- Assist scale personnel
Working Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:30pm with additional hours required during harvest
Qualifications:
- Experience in grain accounting and accounts payable
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business with an emphasis in accounting preferred
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
