As a kennel tech / doggie daycare attendant you will play a vital role in our commitment to creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for our furry friends. You will be responsible for the care and well-being of dogs in our facility, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. Your passion for animals and commitment to exceptional service will help us create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
What you’ll do
- Animal Care: Provide personalized care for dogs, including feeding, exercise, and comfort for both our canine and feline guests, paying attention to individual needs and behaviors.
- Monitor the health of animals to ensure their well-being.
- Dog Play Supervision: Actively monitor and manage groups of dogs in our outside exercise areas, ensuring a safe and positive play environment through vigilant attention and proactive management.
- Cleaning & Sanitation: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the facility, including suites and play areas.
- Respect for Owners: Every pet owner is appreciated, treated with respect, and greeted with a friendly voice. Our standard is rave reviews and legendary customer service.
Requirements:
Passion for Animals: A genuine love for pets and a strong desire to provide the best possible care.
- Dependability: Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable in maintaining your schedule.
- Availability: positions available for early mornings (starting as early as 5:15 AM) and late evenings (ending as late as 7:30 PM).
- Weekend & Holiday Work: Ability to work one weekend shift per week and short shifts on holidays.
- Background Checks: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Physical Requirements
This is an active and physically demanding role. Candidates must be able to:
- Work under conditions that require sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, and grasping.
- working in all weather types
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively (talking and hearing) with staff.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: Starting from $11.00 per hour with the opportunity for a raise upon completion of required training.
