Duties
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
- Oversee landscape installation, maintenance, lawn care, pruning, planting, and irrigation system setup
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to team members to maximize productivity
- Conduct quality inspections of completed work and address any issues promptly
- Manage equipment use, maintenance schedules, and supply inventory to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand project specifications and deliver outstanding results
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping, landscape maintenance, or horticulture with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of lawn care, gardening, tree care, irrigation systems, and general land management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively
- Familiarity with construction practices related to landscaping projects
- Excellent understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments
- Ability to read blueprints or project plans is a plus
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials as needed
