Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be an essential part of transforming ideas into reality! As a Construction Laborer, you'll support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks, operating tools and equipment, and ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Duties
- Assist with the installation of rebar, framing, drywall, roofing, flooring, tile laying, stucco, and other building components.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to support construction activities.
- Mix and pour concrete using mixers and pumps; perform concrete finishing and formwork.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as carrying materials, digging trenches, and site cleanup.
- Support masonry work including bricklaying, stonework, and metal stud framing.
- Aid in renovation projects by performing plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, and restoration tasks.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of various construction techniques including concrete forming, masonry, welding, and heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics to interpret project plans accurately.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools essential for daily tasks.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work involving heavy lifting and long hours outdoors or in confined spaces.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience operating heavy machinery is a plus but not required.
