Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Your energy, attention to detail, and hands-on expertise will help ensure high-quality craftsmanship and efficient project progress. Duties
- Assist with framing, trim carpentry, siding, and door hanging to support project timelines and quality standards
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute construction plans and specifications
- Perform concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, and roofing tasks as needed
- Install fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, tile, stucco, and water damage restoration components
- Conduct heavy lifting and assist with material handling on construction sites
- Support restoration projects by performing plastering, mold remediation, water damage repair, and general site cleanup
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or related fields such as remodeling or manufacturing
- Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic diagrams
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing equipment, and woodworking machinery
- Knowledge of various trades including plumbing, electrical work, masonry, drywall installation (including plastering), caulking, and fixture installation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in diverse environments
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites and experience working with scaffolding or roofing equipment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
