Our client, a multi-billion-dollar global investment platform, is seeking a Director / Senior Director of Global HR Operations to lead and evolve its people operations infrastructure. The role will lead a small, high-performing team and partner across regions to streamline processes, strengthen systems, and enhance the employee experience. The ideal candidate combines deep HR operations experience in financial services with hands-on system fluency and the strategic mindset to scale processes for a growing global organization. This role is to be based in Midtown Manhattan (4 days on-site).
Responsibilities
- Lead all HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding/offboarding, mobility, performance management, etc.).
- Identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Partner with Technology and HR to strengthen Workday and related systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee policy management, governance, and operational controls.
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR Operations team, fostering accountability and innovation.
- Manage payroll and benefits operations in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of progressive HR operations experience, ideally within financial services or global corporate environments.
- Demonstrated Workday expertise (configuration, reporting, integrations, or implementation).
- Proven management experience leading HR or HRIS teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRIP) preferred.
