What are the responsibilities and job description for the Portfolio Manager - Equity Long-Short position at JW Michaels & Co.?
Our Client is a top Global Hedge Fund looking to add on great PMs and Teams looking to add PMs, Analysts & Teams across select verticals:
- Industrials,
- Consumer
- TMT/CME
- Healthcare/Pharma/Biotech/MedDevices,
- Financials including Non-Bank,
- Payments & REITs,
- Commodities,
- Event Driven/Special Situations (no merger arb).
If you have a Long-Short EQTY strategy with a 5 year track-record running $500Mil with a P&L of >15% and a Sharpe 2 we should have a conversation.
All candidates will be required to submit their resumes as well as their investor presentation for consideration. No materials will be circulated without the candidate’s expressed permission.
Required:
- Bachelors degrees from top universities—advanced degrees & CFAs preferred.
- Buy-Side PM from recognized Hedge Fund essential (no Long-Only).
- 5 year live track-record running >$500Mil AUM.
- Returns of 15% - 20% with Sharpe of 2 .
- Comfortable managing risk across global markets.
- Strong industry & vertical network and relationships.
- Ability to travel to industry conferences as needed.
- Strong communication skill set (written & verbal).
