Our client, a leading global alternative investment firm, is seeking a Legal Documentation Specialist to join its Legal team in Coral Gables, Florida. The Legal Documentation Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and processing non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and other routine legal documentation while partnering closely with investment professionals across the firm. This position will utilize AI-powered legal technology, including Harvey, to streamline document review and ensure consistency with established legal playbooks. Matters requiring substantive legal analysis or deviations from standard procedures will be escalated to senior legal counsel.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, revise, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) in accordance with established legal guidelines and internal playbooks.
- Utilize AI-powered legal technology, including Harvey, to assist with document review and contract analysis.
- Identify agreements that require legal judgment or fall outside established parameters and escalate appropriately to senior legal counsel.
- Serve as a primary legal point of contact for investment professionals, providing timely support and maintaining strong internal relationships.
- Track, organize, and manage legal documentation throughout the review and execution process.
- Ensure legal documents are accurate, compliant, and completed within required timelines.
- Support continuous improvement of documentation processes and AI-assisted workflows.
- Maintain confidentiality while exercising sound judgment in handling sensitive legal matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- 4 years of experience as a corporate paralegal or in a comparable legal documentation role.
- Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, particularly NDAs.
- Strong understanding of legal documentation, contract terminology, and corporate legal processes.
- Experience with AI legal platforms such as Harvey is highly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and confidently interact with senior business professionals.
- High attention to detail and sound judgment when identifying issues requiring legal escalation.

- Corporate paralegal experience within a large law firm, investment firm, financial services organization, or in-house legal department.
