This role sits within the Streaming Communications team and will also support the day-to-day management of the team’s PR social media presence. Job Responsibilities
- Draft and distribute press releases tied to programming launches, anniversaries, genres, cultural events, and marketing initiatives
- Create press pitches, event invites, and post-event communications for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage and maintain press lists, coverage trackers, and reporting documents
- Support day-to-day management of PR social media accounts, including scheduling posts, drafting copy, and coordinating with social teams
- Track industry news and press coverage to create daily and weekly coverage reports
- Help coordinate communication efforts across Media Relations, Marketing, Awards, Events, and other internal teams
- Assist with competitive analysis reporting across the streaming and entertainment landscape
- Support campaign logistics, wrap-up reporting, and additional communications team initiatives as needed
- Build relationships with up-and-coming press contacts through regular communication and pitching efforts
- 2 years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong writing experience, including press releases, pitches, strategy documents, or similar materials
- Experience supporting press campaigns, launches, junkets, or publicity initiatives
- Experience tracking media coverage and maintaining reporting/coverage trackers
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Slack and Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field strongly preferred
- Experience working within a media, entertainment, communications, marketing, or technology company
- Knowledge of AP Style
- Passion for storytelling, entertainment, and streaming content
