JustinBradley’s client, a premier DC real estate developer, is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to manage day-to-day accounts payable operations. This role supports a high-volume environment and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently. The position also includes vendor interaction, onboarding responsibilities, and leveraging evolving technology and AI tools to improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
– Process min. 800-1000 invoices/month and payments in a timely manner, including coding and entry
– Process ACH, check runs, and wire payments
– Upload positive pay files where applicable
– Verify funding prior to issuing payments
– Maintain organized electronic and physical AP records
– Research and resolve accounts payable issues and discrepancies (min. 20/month)
– Maintain W-9 records and process 1099s
– Process recurring payables
– Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
– Provide documentation and support to auditors and partners
– Support improvements to streamline AP processes
Vendor Onboarding & Communication
– Coordinate and manage vendor onboarding to the Bottomline/Paymode platform, including proactive outreach to vendors
