Our long-term law firm client is seeking a Revenue Accountant, responsible for auditing, uploading, recording, and processing firm invoices and employee expense reports in compliance with firm policies and client guidelines. It also involves preparing payments and supporting documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Workplace Type: Remote (must be local to DC office)
Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Accounts Payable Supervisor
Salary Range: $61,000 – $77,000 (based on experience and location)
Benefits: Eligible for comprehensive benefits (including healthcare) if working 30 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Audit and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports
- Upload cost entries for client billing
- Reconcile Wells Fargo credit card program
- Maintain 1099 database and vendor documentation
- Research unpaid invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to payment inquiries from vendors and internal staff
- Support annual audit documentation
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity with sensitive information
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 year of law firm accounting experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Detail-oriented with effective research and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Excel, Chrome River, and 3E accounting systems is a plus
