Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-13 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience. Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for a IT Specialist (Policy and Planning) GS-2210-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:- Develops, evaluates, and implements directives to implement high-level policy changes that impact significant agency technology resource requirements.
- Evaluates the need for changes in existing policies or procedures within the OCIO
- Perform administration of the Capitol Planning and Investment Controls program and systems
- Provides oversite of the department's compliance to the Clinger-Cohen Act and the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act.
- Conducts training sessions for the Department's IT Investment owners and Portfolio Managers.
