Position Summary:
The Weekend Sanitation Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the sanitation team to ensure all cleaning and sanitation tasks are completed in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and food safety standards. This position plays a key leadership role in maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic environment throughout the facility.
Schedule: Weekend Friday through Monday (4:00am – 2:30 pm)
Location: Bethlehem, PA
How You’ll Impact Results:
· Lead and coordinate daily activities of sanitation personnel to ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of equipment, production areas, and facility.
· Ensure compliance with all company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, OSHA).
· Train and mentor sanitation staff on procedures, safety practices, and chemical usage.
· Maintain and update sanitation schedules, records, and documentation.
· Conduct pre-operational inspections and swab testing (if applicable) to verify cleanliness and readiness for production.
· Troubleshoot sanitation issues and recommend solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
· Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure seamless operations.
· Monitor chemical inventory and coordinate with vendors to maintain adequate supplies.
· Report and escalate any sanitation or safety issues to management promptly.
· Assist in onboarding and performance evaluations for sanitation team members.
