What You'll Do
Editorial Ownership
- Own the end-to-end edit of commercial spots — from first cut to final delivery — with full command of pacing, sound design, color, and music selection
- Drive creative decisions that balance brand integrity with performance outcomes, ensuring every cut is optimized to stop the scroll and drive action
- Maintain a consistent visual and editorial identity across all content, from polished brand spots to UGC-style hybrid formats
- Manage and organize an efficient asset library of footage, audio, graphics, and templates to support fast, high-quality turnaround
- Edit with a social-first mindset — crafting hooks, retention patterns, and platform-specific cut styles tailored to YouTube, Meta, and TikTok
- Translate brand strategy and campaign goals into creative that performs, not just impresses
- Optimize all content for platform-specific formats, aspect ratios, and algorithmic best practices
- Stay ahead of emerging editing trends, viral formats, and platform shifts to keep content competitive and fresh
- Lead and mentor a team of editors, providing clear creative direction, constructive feedback, and hands-on support
- Set and uphold the team standard for quality, speed, and creative judgment
- Collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and growth teams to align editorial output with campaign objectives and performance data
- Partner with the broader creative team on music selection, sound design, and finishing to ensure every deliverable meets the highest standard
- Review and approve team edits before delivery, ensuring consistency and quality at every stage
- Competitive compensation with experience
- Health benefits and wellness perks
- Generous Just Ingredients product discounts
- A mission-driven team culture that truly cares about what we put in our products — and in our people
- Opportunities for growth as we continue to expand
- A fast-paced, collaborative, and energetic work environment
- Please include a portfolio or reel link with your resume
What You'll Bring
Experience & Education
- 4–5 years of experience editing commercials or branded content, with a strong portfolio of finished spots
- CPG brand experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring other editors or creative team members
- Expert-level proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong color grading experience — the ability to take a cut from rough to finished in-house is a significant plus
- Deep understanding of sound design, music licensing, and audio mixing for commercial content
- Familiarity with performance marketing creative formats and the metrics that define success (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, etc.)
- Exceptional sense of timing, pacing, and emotional storytelling — you feel the edit as much as you see it
- A natural leader who elevates the people around you, not just the projects in front of you
- Strong communicator who can give and receive direct creative feedback with confidence and clarity
- Highly organized and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Performance-minded — you care about whether the edit converts, not just whether it looks good
- Passionate about health, wellness, and the Just Ingredients mission
- Experience working on performance marketing campaigns (not just brand storytelling)
- Familiarity with UGC and polished hybrid content styles
- Experience editing for DTC or E-commerce brands
