Material Handler
Location: Bensenville, IL
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (overtime available)
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Position Type: temp to hire
We are seeking a self-motivated and professional Material Handler to join our warehouse team. If you are a hardworking individual who can complete tasks successfully with little to no supervision, we would like to hear from you. In this position, you will be responsible for tracking warehouse stock, documenting orders, and storing merchandise.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas.
Verify that all incoming deliveries match purchase orders.
Store cargo in assigned locations using pallets.
Manage inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording locations of stock.
Operate machinery, including forklifts, to handle materials and inventory.
Review pick sheets and pull appropriate products for each order.
Monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations as needed.
Follow all safety and health regulations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
OSHA forklift certification is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
