We’re seeking an experienced Ground-Up Superintendent to lead the construction of new building projects across the public works sector. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with all safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise on-site activities from site preparation through project completion
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and site crews
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain project schedules and budgets
- Conduct regular inspections and resolve site-related issues promptly
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to plans and specifications
- Lead daily site meetings and ensure clear communication among teams
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in ground-up construction as a superintendent
- Must have experience working on public works projects
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to resolve conflicts and drive project progress efficiently
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
