Duties
- Facilitate the entire automotive financing process, including loan application review, credit analysis, and transaction structuring to secure optimal deals for customers and the dealership.
- Develop strong customer relationships by providing transparent information on financing options, warranties, and insurance products.
- Conduct negotiations with customers to close deals efficiently while ensuring compliance with all automotive sales industry regulations and financial services standards.
- Utilize financial software to analyze credit reports, process loans swiftly, and maintain detailed records of all transactions.
- Upsell additional products such as automotive insurance, extended warranties, and service plans to enhance customer value and dealership revenue.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations related to automotive financing, including credit analysis standards, financial regulatory compliance, and local dealership policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar financial services role within the automotive or dealership industry.
- Strong background in customer relationship management (CRM), sales techniques, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with transaction structuring, deal negotiation, and contract management specific to automotive sales.
- Proficiency in financial software applications used for loan processing and credit analysis; experience with 10-key typing and basic math skills are essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence; ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
