Duties
- Greet customers with a friendly smile and assist them in selecting their favorite smoothies, juices, or food options.
- Prepare beverages and food items according to company recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
- Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment.
- Manage cash register operations with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive experience for every guest.
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Barista experience or coffee knowledge is a plus but not mandatory—training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS enhances efficiency in sales transactions.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food preparation and handling procedures.
