This is an exciting opportunity for an investment professional to play a supporting role in shaping the future of a centralized investment platform and a best-in-class trading infrastructure.
As a Junior Trader, you will work closely with senior leadership, advisors, and the Investment Committee to help define and execute the firm’s investment vision. You will contribute to the centralization of investment strategies, support the buildout of a modern trading desk, and play a key role in portfolio construction, trade execution, and risk management. This position blends hands-on trading responsibilities with investment research and analysis, offering a clear and intentional path for career growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Execute trades across equity, fixed income, and alternative asset classes.
- Support the development and operation of a centralized trading desk.
- Construct and maintain trading models and model portfolios.
- Monitor portfolios to ensure alignment with firm-wide investment strategy and asset allocation targets.
- Conduct investment research, due diligence, and market analysis across asset classes.
- Track market conditions and assist in portfolio risk monitoring and positioning.
- Assist in communicating investment strategies and portfolio positioning to clients, both over the phone and in meetings.
- Help optimize trading workflows, systems, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Support the development of cost-effective investment solutions, including for smaller accounts.
- Partner with compliance and operations to ensure adherence to SEC regulations and internal standards.
- Assist with operational responsibilities including account setup, fund transfers, and service-related issues.
- Contribute to the integration and standardization of investment processes across teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of experience in trading, investment analysis, or investment research.
- CFA designation or active pursuit strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, trading strategies, and risk management.
- Experience with portfolio management and trading platforms such as Orion Eclipse (or similar systems).
- Familiarity with Schwab and Fidelity trading platforms.
- Ability to construct and manage diversified investment portfolios.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to execute at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
