About Judson Center – Since 1924, Judson Center has been a leader in human services. We have locations in five counties, Wayne, Washtenaw, Oakland, Macomb and Genesee, providing compassionate and comprehensive services to thousands of children, adults, and families annually.
Job Summary:
A Job Coach is a key advocate and support professional who empowers individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain success in community employment. The role involves providing direct, on-site support, focusing on the development of essential job skills, professional conduct, and workplace communication.
- Positions available in Southern Oakland and Wayne Countries
- Weekday opportunities with varying hours available
- Job training is provided
Job Qualifications:
- Individualized Support: Implementing and managing personalized employment plans tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and abilities. Ability to conceptualize/develop supportive tools to enhance success
- On-the-Job Coaching: Offering hands-on guidance to help clients master job-specific tasks, understand workplace policies, and effectively collaborate with coworkers and supervisors.
- Skills Development: Facilitating the acquisition of new skills to enhance job performance, increase independence, and promote career growth.
- Community Integration: Assisting clients in building confidence and fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment within their professional and community environments
- Evaluate and assess individuals' needs to a successful level of job

- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with people with disabilities or similar experiences is preferred
- Use of own vehicle to drive to job sites is required and applicant must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
