Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality issue resolution within drivetrain component manufacturing in a fast-paced production environment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Quality Improvement Teams (QIT), PFMEA, DPQ, Six Sigma methodologies, and Smart Connected Factory projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute quality programs and projects, collaborating with cross-functional and cross-departmental teams.
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis to address complex manufacturing and quality concerns.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and optimize control plans to ensure process stability and product compliance.
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives by leading corrective actions and warranty improvement activities.
- Hands-on experience with core quality engineering tools and methodologies, including FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Control Plans, Gauge R&R, MSA, and Capability Studies.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, with working knowledge of GD&T principles and terminology.
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting manufacturing data using statistical methods.
- Proven success in driving corrective action processes and conducting thorough root cause investigations.
- Knowledge of gear and shaft manufacturing processes, quality standards, and production controls.
- Experience managing projects and leading cross-functional teams to achieve quality and operational objectives.
- Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, or Minitab.
- ASQ certifications including Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), and/or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB).
- Previous shop-floor experience within drivetrain component manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
