Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Project Architect - Healthcare to join our team and help lead the design of impactful healthcare environments.
- In this role, you will guide and support architects through the full design process on small to mid-sized projects-providing direction, supervision, and mentorship to ensure the delivery of complete, accurate, and timely design documents.
The ideal candidate brings:
- At least eight years of relevant experience
- A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture
- Active architectural licensure
- Strong expertise in Revit, building codes, documentation, and constructability
- Solid proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, architects, project managers, designers, construction teams, and consultants.
- Support and lead a team of architects and designers through the design process for small to mid-sized projects.
- Create complete and thorough sets of design documents to meet project goals, milestones, and schedules.
- Lead detailing efforts for construction documents and oversee the construction phase.
- Facilitate design meetings, consultant meetings, and project team meetings.
- Coordinate project design schedules and resolve complex technical issues.
- Research and lead code reviews and regulatory approval processes.
- Manage and coordinate quality assurance/quality control processes and project specifications.
- Identify and communicate deviations in project scope or design.
- Perform tasks with a high level of collaboration and set an example for others.
- Establish and pursue annual goals based on personal and professional growth.
- Ensure project goals of design excellence, execution, and sustainability.
- Direct, supervise, and mentor junior staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Bluebeam.
- LEED AP and/or WELL AP certifications.
