About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced BMC Helix Control-M Developer to join our support team. This role involves working closely with clients to provide scheduling, batch migration, and automation support. The candidate must be available during weekdays and weekends as needed and collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams.
Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain Control-M/Helix scheduling and batch migration.
• Define, monitor, and schedule jobs based on client requirements.
• Configure dependencies between jobs and smart folders to streamline execution.
• Develop, maintain, and restructure batch job workflow definitions.
• Set up variables, configure calendars, and manage workload policies.
• Use CLI or REST API to build, run, and test jobs against existing Control-M instances.
• Promote jobs across DEV, STAGE, and PROD environments.
• Troubleshoot job issues and perform root cause analysis for failures.
• Provide support for migration from Control-M server to Helix environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of Control-M & Helix Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M scheduling (v9.20, v9.21) and Helix features (SLA management, file transfer, API integrations).
• Experience with MFT, MFT B2B, AWS, Azure, Application Integration.
• Proficiency in Control-M Automation API.
• Solid knowledge of JSON and Python.
• Familiarity with AWS services, Spacelift for IaC workflows, and GitHub for automation/version control.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and ability to work in Agile environments.
• Expertise in Planning and Monitoring domain and Helix/Control-M agents management.
• Proficient in scheduling FW, MFT, AWS Step Functions, Lambda, OEBS, and OS jobs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with connection profiles, file encryption/decryption.
• Knowledge of site standards and promotion rules for batch migration.
• Ability to use Automation API for BMC Helix Control-M effectively.

Work Schedule:

• Weekdays and weekends (as required).
