Project Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time professional architectural staff member to perform architectural design throughout all phases of our projects. As a valued member of our team, you will collaborate with other talented architectural and engineering professionals within a friendly and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of design and construction.
• Work alongside senior-level architectural staff to develop conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction document drawings, and assist in specification preparation.
• Consult and coordinate effectively with clients and extended project team members from project conception through completion.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and follow-through with preparing information regarding design, specifications, materials, and project design.
• Conduct site and facility verification and assist in construction administration efforts to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design plans and standards.

Essential Skills

• 8-15 years of experience in architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit and other Autodesk software for documenting architectural design solutions.
• Experience in construction document preparation, architectural design, and construction administration.
• Project management and project coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills for technical reports and documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Professional license in at least one state, or on track to obtain licensure.
• Proficiency in graphics applications such as Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Design is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Minneapolis,MN.
