Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and develop innovative software capabilities and algorithms.
- Design and implement complex, math- and physics-intensive solutions critical to system performance.
- Participate in reviews of software requirements and test cases.
- Support development in a secure, in-person work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5 years of experience, or master's with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
- Proficiency in C or Java.
- Experience with MATLAB and/or Python.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts.
- Unix/Linux operating system experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience with Linux, scripting, and system operations.
- Familiarity with automated software testing and analysis.
- Background in battle management or fire control systems.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
- Knowledge of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) tools like Gherkin and Cucumber.
- Experience with code analysis and fuzzing tools (Coverity, Fortify, SonarQube).
- Exposure to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- CI/CD pipeline experience and tools (Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins).
- Strong foundation in mathematics and physics.
- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
