Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Second Shift Production Supervisor in Knoxville, TN area!
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and enforce all workplace safety rules, regulations, and practices.
- Process any workplace injuries/incidents in a timely manner per the Incident Reporting and Investigation Guidelines.
- Comply with all food safety, security, and quality requirements.
- Ensure all areas are kept clean, in good condition, and in compliance with USDA established sanitation requirements.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all representatives of federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Assist with maintaining third-party certifications such as BRC.
- Promote and maintain a high level of morale among employees.
- Enforce Guidelines of Conduct, Attendance Policy, and Values in a firm, fair, and consistent manner.
- Assign and schedule team members efficiently to meet production requirements.
- Assist in selection, orientation, and training of new team members.
- Participate in external and internal training programs.
Requirements:
- Food Science/Food Technologist degree preferred
- 5 years of supervisory experience preferred
- SQF & HACCP certified
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with different departments within the organization
- Creative/analytical problem solving skills and innovative approaches to resolve complex problems
- Team building skills and experience
- Microsoft office skills such as PowerPoint, Project Manager, Excel and Word
- Demonstrated experience in managing plant sanitation programs
Salary : $65,000 - $72,000
