Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Plant Finance Manager in Albany, GA area!
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary financial leader at the site, providing strategic financial support and guidance to plant leadership and staff.
- Act as the main point of contact between the site and centralized accounting, finance, and regional service organizations on all financial matters.
- Review and maintain financial records to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entry review and approval, financial analysis, and preparation of summary reporting for corporate finance leadership.
- Prepare periodic financial reports for internal leadership and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Develop periodic profit forecasts, annual operating budgets, and departmental financial plans; analyze business performance and variances.
- Produce financial analyses identifying trends, risks, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare cost estimates for new products, packaging changes, and pricing proposals; continuously evaluate pricing and margin performance.
- Assess the financial viability of new business opportunities and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.
- Analyze capital expenditure proposals to ensure compliance with financial and investment requirements.
- Control and safeguard company assets, including oversight of expenditures, approvals, and cost‑control measures to prevent waste or overspending.
- Work across multiple accounting systems and interfaces; investigate and resolve system‑related issues as needed.
- Supervise administrative and office staff, including scheduling, work review, coaching, and issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, quality, and regulatory programs through compliance with established policies and operational practices.
- Maintain accountability to internal food safety and quality principles and standards.
- Supervise, coach, and develop direct reports; conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
- 5 years experience of progressive finance/accounting experience
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
