Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Human Resources Supervisor for a food manufacturing company in Cincinnati, OH area!
Responsibilities:
- Direct all HR activities for a facility with over 250 employees, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and manufacturing production schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns; champion a proactive, non-union workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Manage and ensure the accuracy of complex, high-volume payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff.
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting efforts to maintain optimal staffing levels for production lines, including onboarding and retention strategies.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with federal and state labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA) and support workplace safety initiatives in coordination with the EHS department.
- Coach and develop front-line supervisors and department heads on performance tracking, disciplinary actions, and leadership development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Food manufacturing environment highly preferred
- Proven ability to manage HR functions of large plant setting
- Extensive experience of managing in a non-union environment
- Experience managing complex pay roll systems (experience with ADP preferred)
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
