Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Human Resources Manager in Bronx, NY Area!
MUST be bilingual (English/Spanish)
Responsibilites:
- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Support organizational compliance initiatives, including Axonify, new hire processes, and performance review cycles.
- Provide guidance and support throughout the recruiting, interviewing, and selection process to fill open positions.
- Lead and support onboarding efforts for Assistant Store Managers and leadership roles above that level.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting thorough, objective, and effective investigations.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate solutions for harassment, workplace violence, and discrimination complaints, including within union environments.
- Facilitate employee relations counseling, disciplinary actions, terminations, and exit interviews across the assigned geography.
- Respond promptly and effectively to associate inquiries and concerns.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance and coaching to line management.
- Support the development and oversight of career-pathing initiatives, New To Role training, and associate development to strengthen succession planning.
- Evaluate and monitor strategic HR initiatives to ensure effectiveness in development, engagement, and succession readiness.
- Deliver training programs as needed within the assigned geography.
- Partner with Store Managers, Area Leads, and Support Staff to address business needs, resolve issues, and provide actionable feedback.
- Collaborate with leadership and associates to improve workplace relationships, boost morale, and enhance productivity and retention.
- Conduct store walks focused on HR talent planning and engagement.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3 years HR Generalist experience
- Experience with federal, local, and state labor laws
- Knowledge of HR fundamentals
Salary : $75,000 - $82,000
