YOUR DAY
As our Head Chef, you skillfully manage your kitchen team and oversee our food service operations, ensuring that every meal meets our high standards and expectations! Your days revolve around preparing and cooking food, delegating tasks amongst your team, and ordering supplies. You also have a hand in developing new menus and creating new options. When we have an opening in our kitchen, you help hire new talent who will fit in well with our dynamic team. Your passion, commitment, and drive to excel make you an invaluable addition to our restaurant!
REQUIREMENTS
- 6 years of management experience
- 2 years of experience as an executive chef or 4 years as a sous chef
- Proficiency in all stations and kitchen areas
- Proficiency in traditional and contemporary Italian cooking with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Excellent knife skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Cheerful outlook and ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of events, private parties, and catering
